22.12.2011 After a 24 hours trip from LA to Tokio and Tokio to Hanoi I finally I arrived in Vietnam at around midnight. Thanks to LonelyPlanet´s tips I tried to avoid scam - so far so good. My hotel, I booked before, was supposed to pick me up from the airport. Unfortunately I have been waiting for nothing. They did not show up...Great!
I decided to take a cab to the hotel. Sharing it with a swiss couple was fortunate as (of course) we did not find my hotel.Glad to find a room at their hotel, located at the north end of Old Quarter in Hanoi I finally went to bed...Good Night, Hanoi!
